This piece was created by combining two layers in Adobe Photoshop: a primary background image featuring an urban environment and a secondary texture layer. The texture, which resembles distressed paper or grunge-like scratches, was blended over the main image using a suitable blending mode (such as Overlay or Multiply). This technique adds a raw, vintage aesthetic to the photograph, enhancing its mood and depth.
The image has been edited in Photoshop to create a selective color effect. The entire image was first converted to black and white, and then specific areas were masked to retain their original color. This editing technique draws the viewer’s attention to the colored parts, creating a strong focal point and enhancing visual contrast. The use of desaturation for the background helps to emphasize the highlighted elements and creates a dramatic, artistic effect
